IKAL - in search of the spirit - is an emerging DJ from Costa Rica. His music, energy and way of connecting with the crowd represents the vibes of the jungle and the sea. 

Osa in Puntarenas, where he resides, surrounds those melodic and tropical sounds that characterize his sets. 

His passion for music comes from the connection with dance and using sounds as a transformative tool.

IKAL’S career as a Dj started when he won a scholarship at Dj Lab (a Dj and music production school located in San Jose, Costa Rica.)

Recently, Pete Tong selected one of his sets as “Future Talent” with Apple Music - Ibiza edition, as part of the online DJ program that the Pete Tong Dj Academy offers.

IKAL is a resident DJ/producer at some of the best restaurants in Osa, private parties, and founder of Beyond Connection, an event that brings the local talent, the best djs in Costa Rica and community together. .
